Category Analyst Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Category Analyst Lead to manage and optimize category performance through strategic data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and vendor engagement. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering actionable insights to support business decisions, improve customer satisfaction, and drive category growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, manage, and maintain detailed reports and dashboards to analyze and evaluate category performance using advanced analytics tools.

• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, marketing, customer service) to collect and interpret customer feedback and market research data.

• Act as the main point of contact for category-related insights, ensuring clear communication across departments.

• Monitor vendor performance, maintain strong vendor relationships, and ensure timely and accurate data entry into systems.

• Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within the category and recommend strategies to enhance results.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Tableau and SAP is essential.

• Extensive experience in data analytics with a strong ability to turn data into actionable insights.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across departments and with external vendors.

• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience in the lighting or electrical industry is preferred, but not mandatory.
